Compliance as a Service (CaaS) Details
CaaS Subscription Includes:
CARB Approved Continuously Connected OBD Device
Unit configured to a specific VIN, programmed per CARB periodic inspection frequencies, includes installation cables and nationwide multi-carrier LTE cellular connectivity.
Included Testing
Includes all CARB required periodic tests and test submissions, retesting in the event of a failed test, on-demand testing for Notice to Submit Test (NST) responses or other regulatory requirements
CARB Credentialed Tester Support
Workflow monitoring by CARB-credentialed technicians to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory compliance, takes calls to remotely pause/resume/run on demand-tests and run firmware updates.
Documentation/Certificates
Upon successful submission, test records can be acquired directly from the Clients CTC-VIS portal.
Setup and Activation:
One-Time Configuration Fee
$175, Includes vehicle specific configurations, CTC-VIS integration, programming test intervals, establishing the cellular network connection and unit bench testing.
Cable Options
Units come configured with either the J1939 (round 9-pin) or J1979 (rectangular 16-pin) connection and can be ran to the OBD port directly or using a pass-through Y-cable (client preference).
Installation Options
For direct to OBD port connections, we'll ship the unit and you simply do a DIY install (Plug and Play). For Y-Cables, you can DIY or hire our tech to install it for you ($75 per hr, 2 hr minimum).
Please Note
P2G retains ownership of all hardware, cables, and cellular networking equipment. Client shall return equipment at the end of the contract term, when selling/retiring the vehicle, or upon request.
CaaS - Billing Options
$30 Per Month
Billed monthly, Auto-Pay Required. Total = $360 per year. Minimum 2 Year Contract Required. Terms and conditions apply.
$165 Every 6 Months
Billed Semi-Annually, Auto-Pay Required. Total = $330 per year ($30 Savings). Minimum 2 Year Contract Required. Terms and conditions apply.
$300 Per Year
Billed Annually, Auto-Pay Required. Total = $300 per year ($60 Savings). Minimum 2 Year Contract Required. Terms and conditions apply.
